Navigation brief
Use this hierarchy to plan navigation. Enforce access on the server; hiding a link is not protection. Keep public and authenticated navigation clear. Preserve reading order, active-page indication, and a useful not-found destination.
- /: Home; access: Public; parent: top level.
- /app: Dashboard; access: Signed in; parent: top level.
- /app/projects: Projects; access: Signed in; parent: Dashboard.
- /admin: Admin; access: Admin; parent: top level.
This is an application planning tree, not a crawler-facing sitemap.xml.

A little context.
An application sitemap is a planning tree, distinct from a search-engine sitemap.xml file. Parent pages determine route nesting. Access labels describe intended visibility, not enforced permissions. This builder checks sibling route conflicts and prevents circular parent relationships.
Good questions.
Is this a sitemap.xml generator?
No. It plans application pages and navigation. Your deployed site still needs its own crawler-facing sitemap.
Will changing access labels protect a page?
No. Implement authentication and authorization in your application. The labels are documentation only.
