Project dashboard

Content

Project cards with search, filters, and a create-project action.

Breakpoints

  • Mobile: below 768px; 1 column(s); Menu button.
  • Tablet: 768px to 1023px; 2 column(s); Compact sidebar.
  • Desktop: 1024px and above; 3 column(s); Full sidebar.

Spacing

24px content gutters and grid gaps. Reduce spacing only where narrow screens require it.

Behavior

Preserve semantic reading order. Keep the primary action reachable and form labels visible. Avoid horizontal page scrolling. Test keyboard navigation, long content, zoom, and intermediate widths, not just the three examples. Reuse the project's breakpoint and spacing tokens where they represent these values.

From an idea to something useful.

  1. 01

Name the screen and its primary content.

  2. 02

Choose columns and navigation at each breakpoint.

  3. 03

Inspect the schematic and export the responsive brief.

A little context.

A responsive brief captures decisions that screenshots leave out: when columns change, how navigation collapses, and what stays in reading order. This builder uses explicit breakpoint values and a schematic preview. It does not generate or audit the final responsive interface.

Good questions.

Does this output a full page?

No. It creates a layout specification to use with your builder or team.

Are the breakpoints framework-specific?

No. The brief uses CSS pixel widths and describes the behavior. Map them to your project’s breakpoint tokens.
