Feature Build Sequence Planner
Arrange selected app features into a dependency-aware build sequence, with scoped prompts and verification steps. Free browser-based planning tool.
Prompts & verification
Feature build sequence
Already available: App foundation.
1. Data layer (prerequisite)
Define the required records and relationships for the agreed core flow. Validate inputs and implement server-side access boundaries. Ask about missing data decisions before writing migrations.
Verify: Create and reload a record. Invalid input is rejected and unauthorized reads fail.
2. Dashboard
Build a dashboard using the existing components and real data sources. Include loading, empty, failure, and populated states. Do not add unrequested charts or metrics.
Verify: Check zero records, real records, a failed request, keyboard navigation, and a mobile viewport.
3. Accounts & authentication (prerequisite)
Implement the agreed account flow with the existing authentication provider. Include signed-out, expired-session, recovery, and unauthorized states.
Verify: Sign in, reload, sign out, and verify protected routes and data remain protected.
4. Payments (prerequisite)
Integrate the selected payment provider in its test environment. Store authoritative server-side payment state and handle duplicate events idempotently. Include canceled, declined, pending, and completed checkout.
Verify: Run test checkout and replay a test event. Confirm one purchase cannot create duplicate access or charges.
5. Subscriptions
Implement the agreed subscription lifecycle on top of existing billing: activation, renewal, cancellation, expiration, and plan changes. Define when entitlement changes take effect.
Verify: Use provider test scenarios for activation, cancellation, failed renewal, and duplicate events.

A little context.
This planner uses a small, explicit dependency graph. For example, subscriptions rely on accounts and stored billing state. Already-built features are treated as available prerequisites. The graph is a starting point for common web apps, not a universal architecture prescription.
Good questions.
Why was an extra feature included?
Some selected features need prerequisites. The planner adds those foundations and labels them as dependencies.
Can I skip work I already finished?
Yes. Mark existing features as already built. They will satisfy dependencies and disappear from the remaining build steps.
